About the Role

This fixed-term contract role in Forestry and Land Scotland's Health, Safety and Wellbeing team is an exciting opportunity to provide health and safety support to colleagues in the West Region.

We are looking for a candidate who can promote health, safety, and wellbeing in a diverse workplace, with a passion for effective communication and a strong understanding of health and safety principles.

The ideal candidate should have a flexible approach to working within the West region and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide health and safety support to colleagues in the West Region
  • Promote health, safety, and wellbeing in a diverse workplace
  • Develop and implement health and safety initiatives
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience
  • Graduate membership of IOSH working towards Chartered membership
