**Job Overview:**

Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking a skilled Residential Youth Support Specialist to work in our Shellach View Children's House. This permanent full-time position involves working a day shift rota pattern, including weekends.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to up to 6 children, teenagers, and young adults in a warm and nurturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To centre on listening to children and young people, promoting their ability to flourish and thrive.
  • To build unique relationships with each child, taking into account their individual needs.
  • To support the promotion of the rights of young people, working alongside the wider team and other professionals.

**Required Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have good childcare experience, preferably in a residential setting. A strong background in Child Protection, SVQ3 in Social Care, HNC in Social Care, and Crisis Prevention Training is essential. Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is also required.

**Salary:** The estimated salary for this role is £23,500 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
