As a Rural Social Work Children and Families Professional in Argyll and Bute, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families in the community.

The successful candidate will have a relevant social work qualification and preferably experience in Child Protection and Children and Families Social Work. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team and make a positive impact in the community.

About the Role:

  • To provide effective and efficient support to children and families in Argyll and Bute and beyond.
  • To work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the needs of service users are met.
  • To contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being of children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel effectively and efficiently throughout Argyll and Bute and beyond to meet the needs of service users.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including children, young people, families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of services that meet the needs of children and families.

Requirements:

  • A relevant social work qualification.
  • Preferably experience in Child Protection and Children and Families Social Work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
