As an Academic Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in assisting our clients with various aspects of personal care, mobility, and social connections.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, where no two days are ever the same. Your support worker role may involve:
- Assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Supporting clients with mobility issues, including transfers and hoisting
- Facilitating social interactions and connections, helping clients build relationships and expand their social networks
We're looking for someone who is flexible, patient, and has a positive attitude. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we'd love to hear from you
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A positive and flexible outlook
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities
