We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Care Specialist to join our team at Shellach View Children's House. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to children and young people in our residential setting.

The ideal candidate will have a background in childcare or social work, with experience working with vulnerable children and young people. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build strong relationships with children, young people, and colleagues.

As a Residential Care Specialist, you will work closely with our team to create a warm and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and development of all children and young people in our care. This will involve centring on listening to their needs, promoting their ability to flourish and thrive, and supporting them to reach their full potential.

This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding of the complexities of working with children and young people who have experienced trauma. You will be required to undergo training in Child Protection, SVQ3 in Social Care, HNC in Social Care, and Crisis Prevention Training.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
