Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in Edinburgh & the Lothians. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide comprehensive and professional secretarial and administrative support to our departments, ensuring all contacts receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to managers and teams, including minute taking and arranging patient appointments and professional meetings.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Recent knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures, including minute taking.
  • Experience of working within an admin role or a customer-facing service.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work towards deadlines.
  • Values and respects the different cultures and beliefs of patients and colleagues.
  • Emotional resilience to work with people affected by death, dying, and bereavement.
