We are seeking a Children's Service Manager to join our team at Shire Healthcare in Kettering, Northamptonshire. As a Registered Manager based in this location, you will oversee a Family Assessment service that provides 12 weeks support to children and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care Plan Implementation: Ensure each child has a care plan reflecting their emotional, care, education, social, therapeutic, and cultural needs.
  • Key Worker Allocation: Assign each young person a dedicated Key Worker responsible for implementing their care plan.
  • Relationship Building: Foster relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals regarding the support provided to each child.
  • Budget Management: Effectively manage budgets according to company policy.
  • Statutory Framework Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the statutory and procedural framework for residential care and communicate it to the team.

This permanent position offers a salary range of £45,000-£50,000 per annum, along with bonuses. Previous experience as a manager in a children's residential home or family assessment centre is essential, particularly with Ofsted experience.
