We are seeking an experienced Child Care Service Manager to oversee a Family Assessment service in Kettering, Northamptonshire. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a manager in a children's residential home or family assessment centre and possess Ofsted experience.

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with a salary of £47,500 per annum, plus bonuses. Our client offers numerous benefits and opportunities for progression.

As Lead Professional for Children's Services, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing care plans that cater to each child's emotional, social, educational, and cultural needs;
  • Allocating Key Workers to ensure the effective implementation of care plans;
  • Maintaining strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support to each child;
  • Managing budgets effectively and ensuring adherence to company policies;
  • Staying up-to-date with the statutory and procedural framework for residential care and communicating this knowledge to the team.
