About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Child Protection Specialist to join our Children in Care Team at Northamptonshire Children’s Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, coordinating multi-agency approaches, and building positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.

This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires strong analytical and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our colleagues in the Leaving Care Service and external partners to deliver positive outcomes for our children and families.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clear and accurate assessments of children's needs and circumstances
  • Coordinate multi-agency approaches to support children and families
  • Build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to deliver positive outcomes

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including a generous annual leave allowance, pension scheme, and comprehensive training and development opportunities.
