Internal Sales Business Developer

A leading global manufacturing company based in Smethwick is seeking an Internal Sales Business Developer to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to develop their sales skills and work in a dynamic environment. As an Internal Sales Business Developer, you will be responsible for managing multiple accounts, generating new business opportunities, and contributing to the company's growth.

You will work closely with your Field Sales Manager to achieve your targets and contribute to the company's success. The successful candidate will have a solid background in sales, a hunter mentality, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and work towards achieving targets and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create new business opportunities with new customers and lapsed customer accounts.
  • Use training provided to engage and attract customers.
  • Reconnect with lapsed accounts by providing a fresh contact or approach.
  • Account management of multiple accounts while generating new leads.
  • Introduce new products from the expanding range, up-sell, and cross-sell to ensure customers are aware of the full product portfolio.
  • Work closely with your Field Sales Manager to work towards your targets and KPIs.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn a bonus based on performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven B2B sales experience.
  • Experience working towards and achieving KPIs and sales targets.
  • Experience working in an industrial or engineering setting, with chemicals, adhesives, or paints would be advantageous.
