NHS Scotland is a leading healthcare provider seeking an experienced Advanced Palliative Care Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to work in palliative care within the Hospice and community setting. The successful candidate will have the ability to assess and address the needs of patients living at home with life-threatening illnesses and their carers through direct/indirect care and multidisciplinary working.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To work closely with members of the multi-professional team within St Margaret of Scotland Hospice and the wider community projects/services to provide specialist palliative care.
  2. To participate in daily Ward Rounds, weekly Grand Ward Rounds, and daily Patient handovers.
  3. To establish oneself as a resource, facilitator, and role model for Specialist Palliative Care.
  4. To adopt a multi-professional and collaborative team approach to care assessment and delivery.
  5. To participate in the Hospice Virtual Clinic and/or deputise for the Community Palliative Care Lead.
Salary:

Estimated salary range £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
