Are you looking for a rewarding career in palliative care? As a Palliative Care Nurse Specialist with NHS Scotland, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and evolving specialty where patients and families come first.
The role involves assessing care needs, planning and developing nursing programmes of specialist palliative care/hospital-based complex clinical care, and implementing and evaluating these programmes. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing high-quality care to patients and their families.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the implementation of Hospice Core Values and Mission in practice
- Demonstrating awareness of etiquette and good conduct within the Hospice environment
- Providing an effective delivery of nursing care to patients, maintaining the highest standard of care
- Participating in education and training programmes as required
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
