Palliative Care Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Nurse to fill the role of Palliative Care Lead Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to patients and families.


Job Summary
  • This role is responsible for leading the palliative care team, developing and implementing nursing programmes, and ensuring high standards of care and safety.
  • The post holder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver effective patient care and achieve excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nursing programmes, ensuring high standards of care and safety.
  • Lead and manage the palliative care team, exercising positive leadership and achieving a high standard of care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of care, adhering to NMC standards and Hospice policies.

The salary for this position is estimated at £36,000-£46,000 per annum, depending on experience.
