Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation team in Harrow. As a key member of our team, you will provide a comprehensive occupational therapy service to residents, including Early Supported Discharge Service for Stroke and Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service pathways for people with acquired or progressive neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct multidisciplinary neuro assessments and identify client needs, working closely with the MDT on joint goals.
  • Communicate relevant medical information, assessment details, advice, and recommendations across agencies and with clients, in compliance with trust guidelines for sharing of information and informed consent.
  • Gain informed consent for assessment, treatment interventions, and sharing of information, adhering to legal and professional guidelines.

Requirements
  • OT with appropriate Diploma/degree
  • Current registration with HCPC
  • Attendance at specialist short courses or equivalent CPD activities within the specialist areas of Adult Rehabilitation, Neurology, Older People Rehabilitation
