Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide a comprehensive occupational therapy service to residents of Harrow, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake multidisciplinary neuro assessments and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for clients with complex neurological conditions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and informed decision-making.
- Supervise rehabilitation assistants and occupational therapy students, promoting professional development and excellence in practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols to enhance patient outcomes.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a neurorehabilitation setting, with a strong understanding of adult rehabilitation, neurology, and older people's rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
