Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation. They will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and contribute to the development of occupational therapy services within the trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their occupational therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to patients, including education, training, and support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy policies and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior occupational therapists to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Proven experience in occupational therapy, with a strong understanding of current best practices and research.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
