Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality catering services that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with our back-of-house team to create well-balanced and nutritious menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Managing the catering budget to ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.
  • Establishing strong relationships with school administrators and faculty to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising catering staff to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a senior culinary operations manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
  • Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment and thrive under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Meticulous organizational abilities and a high attention to detail.
  • Empathetic, clear, and highly effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills.
