General Catering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Catering Manager to join our team at Holroyd Howe. As a key member of our culinary operations team, you will be responsible for leading our catering services to deliver exceptional food experiences for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences, working closely with our back-of-house team to ensure high-quality and nutritious meals.
- Manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards and adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Establish strong relationships with our school partners, including Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
- Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and delegation skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Financial acumen, with the ability to create and maintain budgets, drive commercial performance, and make informed business decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including school partners, staff, and students.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects, adapt to changing circumstances, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Meticulous organizational abilities, with a high attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
