Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing payroll activities for our trading business based in the United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Administration: Prepare and review payroll instructions and outputs for approximately 210 employees.
- System Maintenance: Maintain the UK Payroll System and HR system Oracle updates.
- Query Resolution: Resolve basic pay-related queries and discrepancies from staff.
- Reporting: Provide monthly costing reports to the Finance department.
- Overtime and Benefits: Prepare monthly overtime reports and statutory Maternity Pay schedules, and review employee expense claims to ensure compliance with Company Policy.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Line Manager as required.
- Statutory Payments: Prepare statutory payment reports and payments requests.
- Benefits in Kind: Record and provide details of benefits in kind for tax purposes.
- Expatriate Tax: Assist in providing information for Expatriate Tax returns.
- Annual Reconciliation: Assist with Annual reconciliation and returns.
- Pension Contributions: Assist with pension contribution files.
- Reporting and Audits: Assist with reporting and audits.
- Document Filing: File documents relating to taxable and non-taxable pay in payroll on a monthly basis.
- Special Projects: Assist with special projects as requested.
- Experience: Proven experience coordinating and managing payroll ideally within a similar-sized organization.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the UK legislation surrounding payroll activities.
- Skills: Ability to demonstrate advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and V lookups.
- Attention to Detail: A good eye for detail is essential to be successful in this role.
