Payroll Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Assistant to join our team at Payroll Elite Ltd. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our payroll transformation project.
About the Role:
As a Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for inputting new starters onto our payroll system, processing payments, and managing a high volume of P45's. You will also be required to liaise with staff on PAYE and SCHD matters, complete the payroll run monthly, and administer the auto-enrolment function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up new starters onto the IRIS (EARNIE IQ) payroll system
- Process P45/Starter Checklist forms
- Send Payslips, P60's, and P45's for the company
- Answer payroll and auto-enrolment queries
- Change tax and student loan information accurately
- Input variable pay
- Liaise with staff on PAYE and SCHD matters
- Complete the payroll run monthly for production staff
- Administer the auto-enrolment function
- Perform general administrative tasks
- Carry out ad-hoc duties as directed by the Payroll Manager
Requirements:
- 2 years of recent end-to-end payroll processing experience
- Excellent Microsoft skills, particularly in Excel with spreadsheets and formulas
- Able to use Microsoft Outlook
- Good telephone manner and excellent communication skills
- Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- IRIS (EARNIE IQ) payroll knowledge is an advantage
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and able to maintain confidentiality
