Clinical Support Worker

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our welcoming multi-disciplinary team within Eye Outpatients at The James Cook University Hospital.
Main Duties of the JobThe successful candidate will be based at The James Cook University Hospital Eye OPD and occasionally may be asked to work across sites at our Eye OPD at The Friarage Hospital, delivering safe, effective, high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients accessing the service for elective and acute treatment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver safe and effective care.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines related to patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans and protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Numeracy and Literacy Level 2.
- Care certificate.
- Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of patient and clinical care duties.
