Trauma Support Practitioner

In partnership with Highland Council, Barnardo's Highland Clover service strives to provide a secure, nurturing environment for young people with additional support needs and care experience. Our goal is to help children and young people regain a sense of safety and self-worth.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Practitioner to support our team in caring for children and young people who have experienced significant trauma. This role involves delivering high-quality services that foster healing, learning, and growth among our children and young people.
Key duties include:
- Offering individualized care and support to children and young people
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized care plans
- Maintaining accurate records and submitting reports as required
- Participating in the development and delivery of group programs and activities
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and colleagues. A relevant professional qualification and extensive experience working with vulnerable populations are essential requirements for this role.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in making a positive difference in the lives of Scotland's most vulnerable children and young people.
