Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the AVP Global Sales Europe to develop the annual strategy plan and group sales budget for targeted areas.
  • Create a clear roadmap to achieve agreed goals and objectives set out in the annual sales plan, focusing on Shangri-La The Shard, London, and regional hotels.
  • Handle group requests and follow-ups with hotel teams effectively.
  • Ensure timely, efficient, and policy-compliant responses to client inquiries.
  • Conduct sales calls and follow up accordingly, supporting ongoing account plans and development.
  • Liaise with hotel executives to coordinate their sales visits to the market place.
  • Assist in organizing trade shows, exhibitions, and sales missions.
  • Organize familiarization trips to key hotels for target markets and participate when necessary.
  • Research new sources of business within the MICE segment, working with DMCs, airlines, and tourism board partners.

Position Requirements

  • Mandatory: Fluency in English.
  • Highly Desirable: Experienced GSO sales person currently working within the UK source market.
