Job Title: NHS Health Visitor Opportunity

**Salary:** £43,041 - £51,072 per annum (inclusive of market forces payment)

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Health Visitor to join our 'Outstanding' NHS Trust. This part-time role within our 0-19 service in Bracknell Forest offers a supportive and integrated team environment.

About the Role
  • **Leading the Delivery of Universal Services**: As a Health Visitor, you will lead the delivery of the universal Healthy Child Programme, ensuring effective delegation, workload management, and monitoring of care standards.
  • **Collaborative Working**: You will work in partnership with families, children, communities, and team members to proactively address identified health needs.

Our team is based across Children's Centres in the local area and has fostered strong community ties.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Child and Family Assessments**: You will assess child and family needs, using appropriate assessment and risk assessment tools, ensuring that at each contact, an assessment of the health and developmental need is conducted.
  • **Breastfeeding Support**: You will support breastfeeding and parent-infant relationships, applying Unicef UK Baby Friendly Initiative standards.
  • **Safeguarding**: You will ensure that advice, support, and services provided take account of clients' or families' race, culture, religion, and language.
Requirements
  • **Qualifications and Experience**: You must be a registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) active on the NMC register and have previous experience managing cases where a child has a protection plan.
  • **Skills and Knowledge**: You should have basic IT skills, knowledge of current policies, and key drivers to improve health outcomes for children.
