Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) in School Nursing to join our 0-19 team in Bracknell Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in community health nursing and experience of working with children and young people. They'll need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This permanent part-time position offers a competitive salary of £39,205 to £47,084 per annum, pro rata. You'll also enjoy a range of benefits, including flexible working options, annual leave, and access to wellbeing tools and services.

About the role:

As a school nurse, you'll play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of children and young people in schools. You'll conduct health assessments, provide targeted health interventions, and lead and manage to uphold high standards of care and clinical excellence.

Requirements:

  • A registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) in School Nursing and active on the NMC register
  • High standard of clinical work and ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships with children/young people.
  • Car driver with ability and readiness to travel to multiple sites
