Are you a registered nurse looking for a career advancement opportunity in public health nursing?

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Development Community Staff Nurse in Bracknell, working closely with health visitors to deliver high-quality care as part of the Healthy Child Programme.

You will be based in Bracknell and work in various community settings, including family homes and well baby clinics. Your role will involve supporting families, planning and delivering health activities, and promoting breastfeeding and parent-infant relationships.

The post requires a degree of agility and the ability to carry/manoeuvre light to moderate loads. You must hold a valid UK drivers license with access to a vehicle and have a strong foundation of knowledge in public health and health education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting families in various community settings
  • Planning and delivering health activities for children and families
  • Promoting breastfeeding and parent-infant relationships
  • Collaborating with other agencies to provide seamless support for children and families
