Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Specialist to join our dedicated teaching team. This role offers real choice of study from Year 7 to 11, alongside proven pastoral support and a focus on student wellbeing.
As the Head of Inclusive Education, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the senior school SEND strategy, ensuring that teaching and learning achievements, attitudes, and wellbeing of every child in senior school matters.
A willingness to participate in the extra-curricular and pastoral life of our vibrant and dynamic school is essential.
This role is available on a 0.6FTE to full-time basis with flexible hours available for the right candidate.
Key Skills:- A qualified teacher with appropriate SEN qualification.
- Successful completion of the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (NASENCO) within three years of commencing role.
- Psychometric testing qualification to carry out Exam Access Arrangements assessments and individual testing would be desirable.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
