Care Home Lead

Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead our new 4-bed service in Derby.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing a residential care home, preferably with a focus on learning disabilities or emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the Team
    • Providing effective leadership and management to the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
    • Managing and supporting the staff team, ensuring they are motivated and well-trained.
    • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Maintaining High Standards
    • Ensuring the home meets all regulatory requirements and standards.
    • Striving for continuous improvement and aiming for outstanding provision.
  • Caring for Young People
    • Advocating for the young people and ensuring their needs are met.
    • Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the individual needs of the young people.
    • Fostering a sense of belonging and stability within the home.
  • Managing Resources
