We are seeking an exceptional Medical Director to lead our specialist 24 bed mental health hospital for women in Derbyshire. As a seasoned Consultant Psychiatrist, you will oversee the clinical direction and operational excellence of our services.

This is a full-time position with 0.2 WTE as Medical Director and 0.1 WTE on our 12 bed eating disorders service for women.

You will be responsible for ensuring optimal clinical outcomes for the people in our care and providing expert knowledge and support within the service and to the wider team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult psychiatry and mental health diagnosis, with experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams.

As a leader, you will work closely with colleagues to provide integrated, whole-person treatment and care, and coach, mentor, and train staff members.

In addition to a competitive salary of £170,000 per year, you will enjoy a range of benefits including 30 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays, 5 days study leave, and company-paid life assurance.

The ideal candidate will possess a GMC registration, CCT/CESR status, Section 12 and AC Status, and membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych).
