**Smile Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant**

To support our students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Good Ofsted-rated School in the London Borough of Islington. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health and be able to provide emotional support and engage with students to foster a positive learning environment.

About the Job:

  • Working with students with various SEN needs, including sensory, speech, and language support, as well as challenging behaviour support
  • Providing one-to-one support and group work to enhance student outcomes
  • Collaborating with teachers to implement individualized education plans and enhance teaching strategies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with their educational and social development
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and behavior

Requirements:

  • Recent graduates or experienced teaching assistants with a passion for mental health and SEN
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and empathetic individuals who can build strong relationships with students and staff
  • Hardworking and dependable team members who can contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Salary and Benefits:
