About the Role

Wayman Learning Trust's specialist SEN school in Hammersmith seeks a highly skilled Key Stage 2 Teacher to create engaging and tailored lessons for students with additional needs.

Main Duties:

  • Develop and implement personalized lesson plans that address students' diverse needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the SEN team to design targeted strategies for student growth and development.
  • Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and personal progress.
  • Regularly review and adjust teaching methods to ensure optimal student outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance SEN education expertise.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching at Key Stage 2; SEN education experience is highly valued.
  • A patient and flexible approach to teaching, with a focus on accommodating diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and support staff.
  • A commitment to inclusive education, with a willingness to tailor lessons to meet individual students' needs.
  • An enhanced DBS check is required for the safety and wellbeing of our students.

Package and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, reflecting their experience and qualifications.
