We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated pharmacist to join our Women's and Children's Pharmacy Team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Job DescriptionThis role offers the opportunity to work across Women's and Child Health, including neonatology, general paediatrics, maternity, and gynaecology.
The post holder will be expected to participate in evening and weekend working services.
- Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist, Women and Children's.
- Act as a specialist role model and an expert in the medical management within paediatric, maternity and gynae patients.
- Lead and manage clinical pharmacy services in conjunction with the Principal Pharmacist.
- Ensure a high level of clinical pharmacy input to the care of patients, providing interface and discharge liaison and support.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and influence care across wider areas of Child Health and Women's Health.
Main Duties of the Job- To act as a deputy for the Principal Pharmacist in Child/Women's Health when required.
- To lead on clinical pharmacy services for patients within the Child/Women's Health domain, in collaboration with the Principal Pharmacist.
- To act as a specialist practitioner within the field and as an expert pharmacist in Child/Women's Health.
- To lead, coach and manage the performance of the junior staff in line with good people management practices, ensuring excellence is recognised and underperformance is addressed.
- To participate in audit and practice research to investigate and where appropriate improve the quality of service.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist who meets the following criteria:
- MPharm Degree and Registered Pharmacist.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Registered Independent Prescriber or willingness to complete.
- Member of the RPS faculty.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a salary of £53,755 - £60,504 pro rata per annum, including HCA.
