Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pharmacist to join our Women's and Children's Pharmacy Team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy and will take charge of providing a top-tier clinical service to the Women's and Children's directorate.

The role offers the opportunity to work across Women's and Child Health, including neonatology, general paediatrics, maternity, and gynaecology. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and will be committed to developing and influencing care across wider areas of Child Health and Women's Health.

The post holder will be expected to participate in the evening and weekend working services, and will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist, Women and Children's, as required.
  • Act as a specialist role model and an expert in the medical management of patients within paediatric, maternity, and gynaecological settings.
  • Lead and manage clinical pharmacy services in conjunction with the Principal Pharmacist, ensuring a high level of clinical pharmacy input to patient care.
  • Interface and discharge liaison and support will be provided, ensuring seamless transitions of care.
