We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Pharmacist to join our Women's and Children's Pharmacy Team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a clinical pharmacist to provide a highly specialist clinical pharmacy service to the paediatric critical respiratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering optimal pharmaceutical care to patients across Women's and Children's Health services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide extensive pharmaceutical care and medicines management services to paediatric CF and respiratory patients
- Ensure delivery of optimal pharmaceutical care to other areas across Women's and Children's Health services
- Assist with optimisation of Epic Electronic Healthcare Systems across paediatrics
- Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist Women's and Children's
- Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and other clinical meetings
- Participate in clinical audit, risk management and clinical guideline development
- Provide supervision, education and training to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
- MPharm (Masters Degree)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification / experience
- Registered Independent Prescriber or willingness to complete
- Experience of working with senior healthcare professionals outside of Pharmacy
- Member of the RPS faculty
