Job Title: Advanced Specialist Pharmacist Women's

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join our Women's and Children's Pharmacy Team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide a highly specialist clinical pharmacy service to paediatric critical respiratory teams and have the opportunity to work across other areas of Women's and Children's Health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide extensive pharmaceutical care and medicines management services to paediatric CF and respiratory patients
  • Ensure delivery of optimal pharmaceutical care to other areas across Women's and Children's Health services
  • Assist with optimisation of Epic Electronic Healthcare Systems across paediatrics
  • Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist Women's and Children's
  • Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and other clinical meetings
  • Participate in clinical audit, risk management and clinical guideline development
  • Provide supervision, education and training to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist with a clinical pharmacy background to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist clinical pharmacy services to paediatric critical respiratory teams and have the opportunity to work across other areas of Women's and Children's Health.

Requirements:
  • MPharm (Masters Degree)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification / experience
  • Registered Independent Prescriber or willingness to complete
  • Experience of working with senior healthcare professionals outside of Pharmacy
  • Member of the RPS faculty
