Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our Women's and Children's Pharmacy Team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the Women's and Children's directorate.
  • Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist, Women and Children's.
  • Act as a specialist role model and expert in the medical management of paediatric, maternity, and gynaecology patients.
  • Lead and manage clinical pharmacy services in conjunction with the Principal Pharmacist.
Requirements
  • MPharm Degree and Registered Pharmacist.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Registered Independent Prescriber or willingness to complete.
  • Member of the RPS faculty.

The ideal candidate will have specialist clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the area of practice, as well as experience of protocol/guideline development and demonstration of advanced practice using evidence mapped to the RPS Advanced Practice Framework.
