Specialist Pharmacist Women's and Children's Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated pharmacist to join our team as a Specialist Pharmacist in Women's and Children's Services. The successful candidate will provide a highly specialist clinical pharmacy service to paediatric critical respiratory teams.
The ideal candidate will have a clinical pharmacy background and experience of working with senior healthcare professionals outside of pharmacy. They will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care and medicines management services to paediatric CF and respiratory patients, as well as ensuring delivery of optimal pharmaceutical care to other areas across Women's and Children's Health services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide extensive pharmaceutical care and medicines management services to paediatric CF and respiratory patients
- Ensure delivery of optimal pharmaceutical care to other areas across Women's and Children's Health services
- Assist with optimisation of Epic Electronic Healthcare Systems across paediatrics
- Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist Women's and Children's
- Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and other clinical meetings
- Participate in clinical audit, risk management and clinical guideline development
- Provide supervision, education and training to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
- MPharm (Masters Degree)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification / experience
- Registered Independent Prescriber or willingness to complete
- Experience of working with senior healthcare professionals outside of Pharmacy
- Member of the RPS faculty
