Specialist Pharmacist Women's and Children's Services Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pharmacist to join our Women's and Children's Pharmacy Team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy and be able to provide a top-tier clinical service to the Women's and Children's directorate.
The role offers the opportunity to work across Women's and Child Health, including neonatology, general paediatrics, maternity, and gynaecology. The successful candidate will be able to lead and manage clinical pharmacy services in conjunction with the Principal Pharmacist, ensuring a high level of clinical pharmacy input to the care of patients.
Main Duties- Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist, Women and Children's
- Act as a specialist role model and an expert in the medical management within paediatric, maternity and gynae patients
- Lead and manage clinical pharmacy services in conjunction with the Principal Pharmacist
- Ensure a high level of clinical pharmacy input to the care of patients, providing interface and discharge liaison and support
- MPharm Degree and Registered Pharmacist
- Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification / experience
- Registered Independent Prescriber or willingness to complete
- Member of the RPS faculty
- Specialist clinical knowledge and skills relevant to area of practice
- Demonstrates awareness of and commitment to the clinical governance agenda
- Experience of protocol/guideline development
- Demonstration of advanced practice using evidence mapped to the RPS Advanced Practice Framework
