Job Title: Advanced Specialist Pharmacist Women's

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our Women's and Children's Pharmacy Team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to take charge of providing a top-tier clinical service to the Women's and Children's directorate. The ideal candidate will have a background in clinical pharmacy and be able to work across Women's and Child Health, including neonatology, general paediatrics, maternity, and gynaecology.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist, Women and Children's.
  • Act as a specialist role model and an expert in the medical management within paediatric, maternity and gynae patients.
  • Lead and manage clinical pharmacy services in conjunction with the Principal Pharmacist.
  • Ensure a high level of clinical pharmacy input to the care of patients, providing interface and discharge liaison and support.
Requirements
  • MPharm Degree and Registered Pharmacist.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification / experience.
  • Registered Independent Prescriber or willingness to complete.
  • Member of the RPS faculty.
