Business Development Manager Opportunity at Brakes

We are seeking a talented and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic contact centre team at Brakes, a leading foodservice supplier in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and expand existing relationships.
  • Build strong commercial relationships with customers to understand their business needs and requirements.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals to secure new business at the correct margin.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer onboarding and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor activity and market trends to inform business development strategies.
  • Achieve revenue and margin targets through effective sales and marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a new business role within a fast-paced B2B environment.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of delivering against targets in a competitive marketplace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or SAP is a plus.
