About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our ICT Channel division. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and converting business opportunities and leads into new relationships across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Prospects: Identify potential clients that meet our sector requirements.
  • Qualifying Sales Calls: Make effective qualifying sales calls to understand client needs and preferences.
  • Setting Appointments: Set appointments with potential clients to discuss our services.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the sales cycle to close new business and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Supplier Meetings: Conduct successful supplier meetings to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Network Development: Build a network of vendor/supplier introducers and relationships to support business growth.
  • Customer Service: Ensure clients and suppliers receive exceptional levels of customer service.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the ICT market and adapt to changes and opportunities as they occur.
  • Company Representation: Understand and represent our company proposition in a professional manner, adhering to compliance requirements.
  • Interdepartmental Communication: Engage professionally with all departments within the company at all times.
  • Technical Competence: Demonstrate competence in all aspects of technology and social media.

Requirements:

  • Previous Sales Experience: Previous B2B sales experience, preferably in the finance sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience of the ICT market and a network of resellers/suppliers/VARs would be advantageous.
  • Sales Track Record: A track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing sales.
  • Personal Qualities: A positive, outgoing individual with a performance/target-driven approach.
  • Time Management: Able to plan your own diary and manage time effectively.
