About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Family Support Worker to join our Families Focus Team. As a Senior Family Support Worker, you will play a critical role in delivering targeted support to vulnerable children and their families to achieve better outcomes and reduce the need for higher level support and long-term demand for services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct work to children and young people with profound/multiple learning disabilities and additional care/health needs.
  • Co-ordinate and deliver interventions using a solution-focused approach by building supportive and empowering relationships with families.
  • Engage children and young people through a range of communication tools/resources, creative and innovative strategies, in line with partner agencies and organisations.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with children, young people, families, and communities to deliver a wide range of interventions.
  • Experience of working with multi-agency assessments and plans.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
