Key Responsibilities

  • Identify New Business Opportunities
    • Research and identify potential business opportunities within the manufacturing sector that align with our strategic goals.
  • Develop Strategic Partnerships
    • Establish and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and potential clients.
  • Market Analysis
    • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Sales Strategy Development
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Client Acquisition
    • Lead efforts in acquiring new clients by presenting compelling business proposals and negotiating contracts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with the manufacturing, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Reporting
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities, progress, and challenges.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience
    • Experience specifically in personal care and cosmetics.
  • Contract Manufacturing Background
    • Proven experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
  • Retail Experience
    • Experience dealing with major retail chains (the mults).
  • Skills
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and proficiency in using Excel and other relevant software tools.
  • Attributes
    • Dynamic, with a proactive approach to business development, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners.
