Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious Sales/Business Development professional to join a well-established third-party logistics provider. Our client is a leading supplier of warehousing, logistics, and transport services to reputable clients. To support their growth strategy, they are seeking a high-calibre Business Development Manager to sell their transport and fulfilment services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in the contract logistics domain.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities.
  • Develop and present proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and track sales performance using relevant metrics and analytics.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Manage existing client accounts and follow up on new business enquiries.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in European road transport and the logistics sector.
  • Proven track record of contract logistics sales.
  • Knowledge of Customs and Pallet networks is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify business opportunities.
  • Ambitious and looking for career progression.
