Business Development Manager

DCS Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Client Acquisition: Lead efforts in acquiring new clients by presenting compelling business proposals and negotiating contracts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the manufacturing, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities, progress, and challenges.
Requirements:
  • Industry Experience: Experience specifically in personal care and cosmetics.
  • Contract Manufacturing Background: Proven experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
  • Retail Experience: Experience dealing with major retail chains (the mults).
  • Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and proficiency in using Excel and other relevant software tools.
  • Attributes: Dynamic, with a proactive approach to business development, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners.
