Job Summary:

VIQU Limited is seeking a skilled 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team in Liverpool. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical support to our users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • User Setup and Migration: Collaborate with users to configure their laptops in the new domain, ensuring all user settings, applications, and data are correctly migrated.
  • Continuous Support: Offer ongoing technical support after users have logged into the new domain, troubleshooting and resolving any post-migration issues related to connectivity, application access, or user profiles.
  • Documentation and Training: Maintain detailed records of user interactions and issues resolved, create and update user guides and documentation to assist in the transition process, and conduct training sessions for users to familiarize them with the new domain environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a merger environment and supporting tenant-tenant/domain migration in previous contract engagements.
  • Strong technical skills in Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
