Group Leader / Head Group Leader: Activity Day Camp

Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Group Leader / Head Group Leader at our Activity Day Camp. This position is ideal for those looking for a rewarding holiday job that combines fun and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a designated group of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Facilitate engaging activities such as archery, football, tennis, dance, swimming, and arts & crafts.
  • Initiate games and assist in various activities, fostering a positive and energetic environment.
  • Address the welfare needs of all participants and maintain a supportive atmosphere.

Candidate Profile:

  • Must be 17 years of age or older.
  • Availability during school holidays is essential.
  • UK/EU citizenship with appropriate right to work documentation is required.
  • High energy levels and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Understanding of child safeguarding principles (training will be provided).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a camp setting.
  • Relevant childcare qualifications (Level 2, 3, PGCE).
  • Paediatric first aid certification.

Camp Beaumont is an expanding organization dedicated to providing exceptional day camps for children aged 3 to 14 across the South of England during school holidays. We pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences for our campers and are excited to welcome new team members who share our passion.

All successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure and must provide two professional references. Legal eligibility to work in the UK is a prerequisite for employment.
