Key Responsibilities:

Asset Oversight:
o Develops the Asset Management Strategy and related financial plans for both medium and long-term horizons, considering the comprehensive cost of ownership throughout the asset lifecycle.
o Monitors asset obsolescence and associated risks to implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

Project Management:
o Oversees the design and execution of capital expenditure projects, serving as either project owner or project manager.
o Engages in designated installation and process enhancement initiatives, adhering to project management protocols.

Leadership and Team Development:
o Provides direction within the production and maintenance & repair (M&R) sectors (including setting individual goals, evaluating performance, and delivering ongoing feedback) to ensure all team members understand their objectives and performance metrics.

o Leads and mentors a team of skilled professionals, fostering employee motivation through constructive feedback, promoting teamwork and mobility, and ensuring that both managers and staff are equipped and willing to achieve established goals.


Maintenance Coordination:

o Plans, prioritizes, schedules, and oversees all maintenance operations (including planned maintenance programs, shutdowns, or urgent repairs) to address breakdowns and malfunctions, minimizing disruptions to business operations.

o Evaluates the maintenance requirements, reviews technical drawings and manuals, ensures the availability of necessary materials, parts, and tools, and coordinates execution planning with relevant departments.

Issue Resolution:

o Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and technical control issues related to production equipment, utility systems, and refrigeration units in offices and warehouses, responding to alerts to ensure technology and safety standards are upheld and operational interruptions are minimized.

o Identifies the source of disruptions, assesses whether external mechanics are needed, evaluates the nature and severity of faults, and determines the necessity and feasibility of immediate repairs.

If required, ensures that urgent repairs are conducted promptly.

Preventive Maintenance:
o Develops preventive maintenance schedules and conducts inspections as part of preventive and corrective maintenance efforts, ensuring timely identification of technical deficiencies and implementation of corrective measures.
o Evaluates maintenance conditions and reports significant findings to production management; directly addresses (impending) defects when feasible.
o Guarantees the scheduling and execution of corrective maintenance based on inspection outcomes, adhering to planned timelines.

Continuous Enhancement:

o Investigates, assesses, and recommends innovative equipment, tools, and processes in maintenance and production to improve operational capabilities.

o Monitors costs and effectiveness of activities to optimize resource allocation, prioritize expenditures, and meet timeliness, reliability, and safety benchmarks.

o Implements best practices in Maintenance (TPM, AM, PM, etc.); contributes significantly to the site master planning process.



Regulatory Compliance:
o Ensures adherence to all operational, safety, quality, risk, and health regulations.
o Supervises work practices and compliance with safety protocols to guarantee the safety of employees in the area (including critical procedures related to ATEX, Work at Height, LOTO, Confined Spaces, Work Permits, etc...).
