Senior Engineer – Infrastructure
Role Overview:
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering control and setting out on site.
Ideally, you will be located in the surrounding area and will have the opportunity to travel across various projects in the region.
Your Responsibilities:
- Foster a safe working environment.
- Oversee site engineering control and setting out tasks, providing necessary information to operatives and subcontractors.
- Complete daily logs along with any required photographic documentation.
- Conduct material reconciliations.
- Ensure all surveying instruments are properly calibrated.
- Perform as-built surveys on completed works and drawings.
- Create Design & Development site sketches.
- Assist in maintaining quality documentation, ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and maintaining as-built records.
- Support basic planning, monitoring, and scheduling.
- Mentor junior and graduate engineers as needed.
- Manage and reduce waste on site.
- Identify and assist in implementing new processes, techniques, and innovations on site.
- Ensure all company assets under your supervision are well-maintained and securely stored when not in use.

Competency Requirements:
- Ability to work safely.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting data and drawings.
- Confident in standard setting out techniques and capable of using Level and EDM, with knowledge of GPS preferred.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Technical/Professional Qualifications:
- HND (Degree preferred).
- Relevant CSCS card.
- Proficient in office software.
- Relevant experience in the field.
