Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at Galliford Try. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in providing setting out and engineering control on site, ensuring that all works are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in creating a safe working environment and coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities.
- Provide information to operatives and subcontractors and complete diary sheets along with any photographic evidence as required.
- Undertake material reconciliations and ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated.
- Carry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings and produce D & D site sketches.
- Assist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works undertaken in accordance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and maintaining the as-built records.
- Assist in basic planning, monitoring & programming and assist in mentoring junior and graduate engineers as required.
- Control and minimise waste on site and identify/assist in introducing new process, techniques and innovations on site.
- Ensure all company property under your control is taken care of and stored securely when not in use.
Requirements:
- Ability to work safely and read & interpret data and drawings.
- Confident with Standard setting out techniques and ability to use Level and EDM with knowledge of GPS preferred.
- Flexible attitude to work and problem solving skills.
- HND (Degree desirable) and relevant CSCS card.
- Office expertise and relevant experience.
